Questions

What people ask first.

Is this insurance?

No. Whole Care is a membership for primary care. Keep your insurance for hospital and specialist care, and for emergencies.

What does it cost?

On your own, it’s $XX a month. Through your employer, it’s a benefit: your employer pays a set amount per employee per month, arranged through your broker.

Do I have to switch doctors?

On your own, your Whole Care doctor becomes your primary care doctor. Through your employer, you can keep a doctor you love, and your care team handles everything around them.

What happens after hours?

Message your care team any time. They answer the same day during clinic hours, and you’ll always know where to go when something can’t wait. In an emergency, call 911.

Can my employer see my health information?

No. Your employer covers the care. They never see your records, only whether you’re eligible.

Whole Care is a membership for primary care. It is not insurance. Booking and joining happen at mainstaycare.com.
