No. Whole Care is a membership for primary care. It is not insurance. Keep your health insurance for hospital stays, specialists and emergencies. Whole Care gives you your own doctor, nurse and care concierge alongside it.

Yes. If you have a doctor you love, keep them. Your care concierge can still handle the work around that doctor: referrals, records and questions about a bill. If you want us to be your doctor later, we move your records for you.

Whole Care is one flat monthly membership. There is no charge per visit and no bill after you see us. If your employer offers Whole Care, they may pay for some or all of it. Current prices are on mainstaycare.com.

Our first clinics in D.C., Maryland and Virginia open in January 2027. Until then, you see your care team by video and reach them by text, usually the same day.

Not yet. The Mainstay Health Plan is quoting in 2027, through employers with 50 to 500 people. Whole Care works alongside the coverage you have today.
